The idea behind this project was to create an animation that alludes to a type of media someone could interact with. As someone who enjoys playing games and is passionate about game art, my solution was to animate splash screen introductions for video games. Splash screens play a crucial role in the success of a game because they are typically the first thing a player sees upon starting the game. If the splash screen does not accurately reflect the mood of the game, the player can be misled. As a gamer who plays many different genres, I wanted my splash screens to capture the unique moods of those genres while also exploring new creative ideas. I used Adobe Illustrator to design the graphics, After Effects to animate the objects, and Premiere Pro to compile the clips and add audio.
